In the midst of all this great Mac-related Getting Things Done business I thought I’d point a couple of my favourite tricks.

Having tried out all manner of reminders and calendars and trackers I’ve settled on this combination - from simple note taking to full on mind mapping, none other than Stickies.app:

Stickies are lightweight and simple, I can’t wait to see if they’ll get a make-over with the new Dashboard widgets in Tiger.

For reminders and calendering, none other than calendar:

Unix calendar

All I need to do for calendar is append whatever reminder I want to a .calendar file in my home directory, and it’ll remind me whenever I open up a new Terminal, -A5 gives my 5 days worth of reminders and -f ~/.calendar just points it in the direction of my local .calendar file.
