There it is.
Yellow. Stuck to the window. Becoming more visible as the sun rose over the line of flats opposite. I couldn’t tell you how long it had been there, the blinds behind me have been closed since the clocks went back. Plus, we’re paranoid about security here, so sitting infront of an open window as I do makes me a risk. The blinds should really stay closed all year long.
It’s a post-it note. Somebody stuck a post-it note to the window behind me - on the outside.
