From last months’ Edge magazine, the missing ingredient from MMORPGS:
Imagine joining a game, wandering into a town and talking to people. Watching their reaction as they realise your accent is different to theirs. Moving to another town and hearing other accents and phrases too.
Localised dialects would be a great way of giving players more subtle information about the world they’re in. As Doctor Who says, lots of planets have a North.
